Business Matters

Hi everyone! Here is Sarah's follow-up to Monday's post. Enjoy!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As a business student, I know the perils of having to dress up for events. Guys have it so easy—all of their wardrobe rules are clearly laid out.  But for the rest of us, it’s difficult to find options that are appropriate, but also stylish.
I think the key is to find pieces that have the right cuts, but with unique colors and patterns.  To avoid blending into the black and gray crowd, I chose to wear this bright pencil skirt from J. Crew Factory.  Because it is such a statement piece, I decided to keep the rest of the outfit all black. Also, a good pair of heels is essential for anyone who needs to dress up often; the comfort really is worth the extra cost.  Mine are from Cole Haan, and though they are on the expensive side, if you catch one of their sales, you are gold.
